چکیده
The use of irrigation can improve the productivity and nutritional quality forage cactus in environments with a water deficit, resulting profit to producer. productive performance, bromatological composition economic benefits using were investigated this study clones regulated deficit (RDI). was conducted an experimental design randomised blocks, factorial scheme subdivided plots. plots consisted regimes based on crop evapotranspiration (ETc) (rainfed, 40, 80 120% ETc). [‘Miúda’ (MIU), ‘Orelha de Elefante Mexicana’ (OEM) ‘IPA Sertânia’ (IPA)] comprised subplots. total number cladodes per plant, fresh dry matter yields evaluated. Economic viability assessed net revenue benefit cost ratio (BCR). depths did not increase yield clones. OEM clone showed 276 343% greater production, respectively, when compared IPA clone; however, MIU clone, it 63%, both production. had no effect cactus. Only during first cycle (BCR < 1). It be concluded that planting one irrigated hectare offer returns starting from production (18 months).

Improving Almond Productivity under Deficit Irrigation in Semiarid Zones
Sustainable water use is one of the greatest challenges of irrigated agricultural systems. This study presents the results related to the agronomic and physiological response to the deficit irrigation of almond trees (Prunus dulcis DA Webb Mill cv. Guara) under semiarid Mediterranean conditions in the Guadalquivir river basin (SW Spain). Two deficitirrigation strategies were tested: i) regulate...
متن کاملAssessment of the AquaCrop Model for simulating Canola under different irrigation managements in a semiarid area
Field experiments were conducted in 2005-2006 and 2007-2008 and the data were used tocalibrate and validate yield and biomass of AquaCrop Model for canola (Brassica napus l.). Themodel was calibrated with the first year and then was validated with the second year data. Fivewater stress treatments at different growth stages were performed including fully irrigatedduring whole growing period (I1)...
متن کاملIrrigation Management of Subsurface Drip Irrigation of Palm Trees under Arid and Semiarid Regions
In order to investigate the effect of water quantity in subsurface drip irrigation on water use efficiency of palm yield and yield components, and determining suitable irrigation treatments for three different date cultivars, a split plot experiment design in a randomized complete block design with three replications were applied for three cropping years (2013-2016), at Behbahan Agricultural Re...
متن کاملEffect of deficit irrigation on crop growth, yield and quality of onion in subsurface drip irrigation
Indiahas the largest area under onion (Allium cepa) crop but its average productivity (14.21 t ha-1) is considerably lower than the world’s average of 19.4 t ha-1. Besides low productivity, irrigation efficiencies are also very low i.e. 30-35% in India. Managing onion crop with less than adequate irrigation water availability is a challenge in several parts of the country. Options of i) deficit...
متن کاملThe Effects of Regulated Deficit Irrigation in Growth Response to Büchloe dactyloides (Bowie and Cody) Compared with Festuca arundinacea
Now days, turf management has encountered with water deficit, mostly due to low precipitation also industrial, agricultural and household demand and consumption. So, the objective of this project was to identify drought tolerance of warm and cool season turfgrass cultivars to different levels of regulated-deficit irrigation. The field experiment was set out in a split-plot based on completely r...
